Laughter & Good Friends Really ARE the Best Medicine
January 9, 2009
I have to say,I have had the privilege to know some wonderful people in my life. I have got to spend some time recently with some old friends. We didn’t do anything special. Just hung out, went out to dinner, and laughed. Not just a smile or a snicker that really deep belly-hurts, snorting, can’t breathe kinda laugh. And I have to say, I feel younger, happier and more optimistic than I have in a long time. It also was a time to reflect on where we have been, the lessons learned and how we have changed and improved. So I have also gathered a sense of gratitude and a sense of being loved and accepted. There really is something to this and you can find out more by just googling health and laughter/friendship. Here are two of the articles I found interesting. I think life is short. Have friends -it doesn’t have to be a lot in number but make sure you have some really good ones. And laugh-every day.
